Peviani in the Fresh Corner of the Amazon Black Friday Fun House
January 4, 2024How to manage a warehouse? Peviani explains it in a documentary dedicated to Bocconi students.
Peviani Spa, a specialist in the production and importat of fruits and vegetables since 1920, proudly participated in an innovative educational project for students of the Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis course at Bocconi University. Initiated by Professor Luca Scarani, Lecturer and course leader, with the support of Luca Magnano San Lio, partner at KPMG Spa audit firm, the video explores the financial management of a warehouse, showing the daily challenges faced by a company's CFO.

This 30-minute documentary offers a practical overview of what students learn in the classroom. After an introduction of the business by Andrea Peviani, Commercial Director of Peviani Spa, the video shows the preliminary verification of accounting data in the balance sheet and warehouse register, followed by a physical inspection that confirms the conformity. Specific accounting topics, such as managing returns and unsold inventory, are thoroughly discussed in an interview with the CFO. "It's an honor for us to teach future managers by providing a concrete example of everyday business management. The success of this initiative is evidenced by students' direct interest in our company, with potential opportunities for future collaborations already emerging," says Giovanni Gria Spinelli, CFO of Peviani Spa.
